What do we need?

We are seeking a talented and proficient Denial Resolution Specialist to join our growing team. At Aspirion we provide our Specialists the opportunity to learn, be challenged, and grow your career within the Revenue Cycle industry. This is an exciting opportunity for someone seeking experience in medical billing, claims investigation, insurance follow-up, and denial resolution. Ideal candidates will possess claims processing experience and a competitive desire to maximize returns.

What will you provide?

  • Primarily telephone communications with carriers to resolve claims
  • Documenting account information into our Health Information System and/or Hospital Patient accounting system
  • Recognizes when additional assistance is needed to resolve claims and escalates appropriately and timely through defined communication and escalation channels.
  • Meets quality assurance and productivity standards for timely and accurate denial resolution in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.
  • Maintains strict confidentiality regarding Patient Health Information (PHI) as well as follows HIPAA regulations.

Requirements 

  • An understanding of hospital billing and/or insurance follow-up/collections
  • Customer service experience
  • Experience with healthcare receivables, insurance claims, denial, and appeal processing
  • Knowledge and skill navigating insurance portals
  • Strong written skills to include correct use of spelling, grammar, and punctuation as well as strong professional verbal communication skills.
  • Experience using Office 365 Suite (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook software)
  • Willing to work on-site in Las Vegas, NV

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Prior experience in Insurance follow-up, claims processing, or medical billing preferred

The US base pay range for this position starts at $18.00 hourly. Individual pay is determined by a number of factors including, but not limited to, job-related skills, experience, education, training, licensure or certifications obtained. Market, location and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to base salary, a competitive benefits package is offered.
