What will you provide?
The Systems Administrator manages, maintains, and optimizes our company's IT infrastructure, ensuring its robustness, security, and efficiency. This position will play a critical role in supporting day-to-day operations, resolving technical issues, and implementing new technologies to improve system performance and reliability. This position protects our critical systems and assets, builds solutions, implements new software and hardware, provides training, and assists in developing and innovating the overall IT Operations strategy
- Consistently demonstrates Aspirion’s mission, vision, and values
- Maintains essential IT enterprise systems, including but not limited to operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, mobile and desktop devices (Azure and Intune). Performs regular system monitoring, including log reviews and analysis
- Create, terminate, troubleshoot Entra AD accounts, create and manage AD groups and O365 distribution lists and email accounts.
- Maintains internal networking systems, such as routers, switches, firewalls, support internet, intranet, LANs, WANs, and network segments.
- Monitors network performance and implements necessary changes to improve speed and reliability.
- Takes responsibility for projects and creating enterprise solutions within the larger business initiative.
- Handles business-critical IT tasks and systems that provide commercial advantage in the global marketplace.
- Enables faster and smarter business processes and develops analytics for meaningful insights.
- Works with internal and external partners to communicate project status, activities, and achievements.
- Assists other teams with troubleshooting to identify root cause for IT issues and provide technical support when needed. Mentors less experienced team members.
- Ensures system backups and recovery processes are in place and regularly tested.
- Implements and manages security measures to protect data, software, and hardware while monitoring security alerts and responds to incidents promptly.
- Plans and executes system upgrades, patches, and installations of new hardware and software.
- Evaluates and recommends new technologies and tools to improve system efficiency and performance.
- Maintains comprehensive documentation of system configurations, procedures, and policies.
- Generates regular reports on system performance, security, and usage metrics.
- Works closely with other IT team members, developers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and functionality of systems.
- Communicates effectively with non-technical staff and management to explain complex technical issues.
- In-depth understanding of best practices in core IT competencies.
- Strong attention to detail with ability to organize and manage multiple priorities and projects, work to tight timeframes and achieve exceptional outcomes
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced evolving work environment with fluctuating priorities and deadlines
- Proven ability to use a consultative approach and persuasive communication with stakeholders.
- Ability to work in and manage ambiguity, including dealing effectively with issues that do not always have a process, system, or solution in place
- Highly developed oral and written interpersonal, communication, negotiation and conflict management skills and the ability to work effectively with other people
- Self-starter with high initiative and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze security incidents and recommend appropriate remediation actions.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of system administration experience required.
- ITIL v4 or equivalent required (candidate can take up to six months after employment to obtain certification).
- Experience in cloud computing (specifically Microsoft Azure and/or AWS) strongly preferred. On prem technologies such as AD, SCCM, AD group policy, may also qualify depending on experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Intune preferred.
- Experience working in a call center environment preferred.
- Experience working in revenue cycle management environment preferred.
- Experience with Windows 10, 11, and Server 2016 or higher, current equipment and IT technologies required. Linux or Mac experience preferred.
- Enterprise backup and recovery procedures, performance-monitoring tools, virtualization, HTTP traffic, content delivery, and caching preferred.
- Experience with PowerShell preferred or knowledge of programming or scripting languages and concepts preferred.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols, firewalls, and security technologies both cloud and physical preferred.
- Professional certifications such as Microsoft Azure, Network+, Security+, preferred.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Some light travel may be required.

The US base pay range for this position starts at $66,000 annually. Individual pay is determined by a number of factors including, but not limited to, job-related skills, experience, education, training, licensure or certifications obtained. Market, location and organizational factors are also considered.
