What do we need?

An M365 Engineer to develop and drive a service-oriented IT through the support and enhancement of Microsoft-based systems and solutions.  The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Microsoft technologies, including Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Active Directory, while ensuring the stability, performance, and security of the Aspirion IT environment.

The following list reflects essential duties and responsibilities.

  • Consistently demonstrates Aspirion’s mission, vision and values.
  • Provides strategic direction and oversight for the design, development, operation and hands on support of Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Active Directory, Teams, SharePoint (and related Microsoft products) that align with the achievement of business goals.
  • Champions I&O involvement in the IT organization's innovation efforts and its role in experimenting with new solutions to take advantage of business opportunities.
  • Manages and drives platform consolidations and integrations of future company acquisitions. 
  • Advises on emerging technologies that should be integrated and/or introduced to ensure IT capabilities respond to the needs of the business strategy.
  • Develops and maintains documentation related to system configurations, processes, and procedures.
  • Has ownership of technical solutions for Microsoft licensing assignments (including onboarding and offboarding). Delivers high quality solutions that can seamlessly transfer into operations.
  • Implements and enforces security policies and best practices to protect the IT environment.
  • Forecasts future needs to acquire and develop an IT workforce with the appropriate mix of business knowledge, technical skills and competencies.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders, including various business divisions, technology and functional groups.
  • Utilize interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of management, including business leaders and executives to understand their business requirements; document requirements and build solution design and operational support documents
  • Provides guidance to business or IT customers about capabilities of Microsoft Office 365 products in place or available to us.
  • In-depth understanding of best practices in Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Active Directory, Teams, SharePoint (and related Microsoft products)
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell) for automation and orchestration of endpoint tasks. 
  • Strong attention to detail with ability to organize and manage multiple priorities and projects, work to tight timeframes and achieve exceptional outcomes
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced evolving work environment with fluctuating priorities and deadlines
  • Ability to prioritize initiatives based on the evolving financial needs of the company, making consistently strategic recommendations to company leadership
  • Ability to work in and manage ambiguity, including dealing effectively with issues that do not always have a process, system, or solution in place
  • Demonstrated ability to utilize interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of management, including business leaders and executives to understand their business requirements, document requirements, and build solution design and operational support documents
  • Proven ability to build a transformation strategy, design a plan for execution, develop an operations plan, and deliver the change throughout the organization
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze security incidents and recommend appropriate remediation actions.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimal 5 years of progressive IT experience in systems administration/engineering roles at an enterprise level is required.
  • Minimal 5 years of working experience with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Active Directory, Teams, SharePoint (and related Microsoft products) is required.
  • Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., MCSA, MCSE, MS-100, MS-101) are strongly preferred.

The US base pay is determined by a number of factors including, but not limited to, job-related skills, experience, education, training, licensure or certifications obtained. Market, location and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package.
