What do we need?

We are seeking a Technical Program Manager that will play a critical role in planning, coordinating, and executing complex technical projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and driving successful outcomes. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, program management skills, and strategic leadership to oversee initiatives across multiple teams and ensure delivery on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.

What will you provide?

  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of technical programs and projects, ensuring they align with business objectives and organizational priorities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, IT, product management, and operations, to define project goals, scope, timelines, and deliverables
  • Drive the development and implementation of program plans, managing schedules, resources, risks, and dependencies to ensure successful execution
  • Act as the primary point of contact for technical projects, providing status updates, progress reports, and risk assessments to stakeholders and senior leadership
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks, resolve project challenges, and ensure alignment across teams to meet key milestones
  • Facilitate and optimize communication between technical and non-technical teams, ensuring clarity and transparency throughout project lifecycles
  • Implement and promote best practices in program and project management, including Agile, Scrum, or other frameworks, to drive efficiency and collaboration
  • Manage resource allocation across multiple projects, ensuring effective prioritization and balancing workloads for technical teams
  • Drive the adoption of tools and technologies to improve program tracking, reporting, and execution
  • Monitor program performance using key metrics, providing actionable insights for continuous improvement 
  • Lead process optimization efforts, identifying opportunities to streamline workflows and enhance productivity across teams

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on collaboration and building consensus
  • Ability to analyze complex problems, identify solutions, and drive execution in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills, with a focus on motivating and guiding teams to achieve program objectives
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC), cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, or GCP), and enterprise system integration
  • Experience managing technical programs involving infrastructure, software development, automation, and cloud migration
  • Proficiency in Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban frameworks
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as JIRA, Asana, Trello, or Microsoft Project. 

Program Management Skills

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex programs simultaneously, delivering results on time and within scope
  • Proven risk management, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical audiences effectively
  • Exceptional organizational, planning, and prioritization skills

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. A Master’s degree or PMP/Agile certification is a plus
  • Experience in technical program/project management, with a proven track record of leading complex, cross-functional initiatives.

The US base pay range is determined by a number of factors including, but not limited to, job-related skills, experience, education, training, licensure or certifications obtained. Market, location and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a bonus tied to achieved results.
