SUMMARY:

The Continuous Improvement Specialist is responsible for enabling widespread adoption of technical and process enhancements across Aspirion’s operations team of claims analysts, attorneys, nurses, and patient advocates.  The successful candidate will embrace and drive change across Aspirion operations teams using a spirit of continuous improvement and assessment of best practices. As a high growth company implementing new innovations in AI/Machine Learning, interoperability with external systems, and seeking to continually improve processes, we need to frequently assess the impact to workflows that changes will cause and ensure user adoption via training and analysis of any barriers. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILIITES:

Workflow Design & Documentation Evaluate, map, and design business workflows and client journey maps; facilitate process mapping sessions and maintain systemic documentation, including version control and approvals.

Process Improvement & Automation Partner with operational leaders to identify and implement automation opportunities and continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma methodologies.

Change Management & User Adoption Lead change impact assessments, stakeholder engagement, and readiness activities; coordinate approval processes and facilitate adoption through communication, training, and hypercare support.

Testing & Implementation Support Collaborate with teams to develop test cases, support UAT, troubleshoot issues, and ensure seamless integration of changes across service lines. 

Measurement & Sustainability Define KPIs/SLAs, develop control plans, and track ROI to ensure long-term success and sustainability of implemented changes.

Communication & Stakeholder Engagement Create and distribute monthly updates on process/tool changes, maintain change records and schedules, and reinforce best practices across operations.

  • Strong root-cause analysis skills; able to anticipate downstream impacts of process changes and make informed decisions.

  • Effective in presenting to varied audiences, facilitating group discussions, and translating complex ideas clearly.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments with attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Demonstrates agility in shifting priorities and a proactive, hands-on approach to driving results.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Visio) and other relevant process improvement software.
  • Maintains a high standard of ethics, accountability, and reliability in all work interactions.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required (directly-applicable work experience will be considered).
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification required (Black Belt preferred).
  • Additional certifications in Change Management, Project Management (e.g., PMP), or Agile methodologies are a plus.
  • Minimal 3–5 years of hands-on experience in process improvement, operational excellence, or business transformation roles is required.
  • Proven track record leading cross-functional initiatives that resulted in measurable improvements.
  • Skilled in workflow mapping, root cause analysis, and facilitating organizational change.
  • Proficiency with tools such as Microsoft Excel, Visio, and data/reporting platforms (e.g., Power BI) for analysis and documentation.
  • Experience within healthcare or revenue cycle management strongly preferred.

The US base pay range for this position starts at $90,000 annually. Individual pay is determined by a number of factors including, but not limited to, job-related skills, experience, education, training, licensure or certifications obtained. Market, location and organizational factors are also considered.
