What do we need?

We are seeking an entry level employee to support the Aspirion team by handling all administrative responsibilities, including but not limited to submitting required documentation to insurance payers on behalf of the Account Owner to support appeals, reconsiderations, and related claims processes. The Staff Assistant III plays a critical role in ensuring timely and accurate submissions to optimize claim resolution and reimbursement. Responsible for maintaining HIPAA compliant, clean, and safe workspace.

What will you provide?

  • Consistently demonstrates Aspirion’s values, portraying positive, respectful, and collaborative interpersonal skills
  • Prepare, compile, and submit required documentation to insurance payers as directed by the Account Owner
  • Ensures the accuracy and completeness of all documentation submitted
  • Notates internal systems and external systems with clear, accurate updates on all submission efforts and statuses
  • Works closely with account owners to ensure timely processing of accounts
  • Maintains working knowledge of and adherence to internal and external Process and Protocols
  • Securely maintains personal credentials (username and password) for internal and external systems
  • Adheres to HIPAA compliance rules and regulations
  • Reports any violations relating to company policy protocol
  • Escalates issues (e.g., payer, submission, etc.) to Manager
  • Complete other projects and tasks, as needed and/or requested

Requirements

  • Familiarity with insurance payer processes and documentation requirements
  • Write grammatically correct routine business correspondence
  • Ability to stay organized with strong focus on attention to detail
  • Ability to problem-solve, prioritize duties and follow-through completely with assigned tasks
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while remaining calm and professional
  • Ability to multi-task, effectively switching between tasks as required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word, and Excel 

Education and Experience

  • High School education or equivalent required
  • Some college coursework in Health/Business Administration preferred
  • Previous experience with payer documentation guidelines and submission protoocls is preferred

The US base pay range for this position starts at $16.00 hourly/annually. Individual pay is determined by a number of factors including, but not limited to, job-related skills, experience, education, training, licensure or certifications obtained. Market, location and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to base salary, a competitive benefits package is offered.
